It was a warm October day for this Villa Sola Cabiati luxury wedding shoot. The sun shined down on us while we photographed these impeccable grounds, two beautiful people, immaculate florals and flawless design.
I started planning this Lake Como workshop in the fall of 2019. Villa Sola Cabiati was the dream venue we knew we HAD to have. It’s an icon on Lake Como. Having to postpone three times due to covid, we were finally able to host this glorious experience! We had an amazing team of vendors who all worked so hard and created an amazing product for our attendees to capture.
I always start any wedding with storytelling the venue itself and the character that makes it unique. When photographing a wedding, my couples choose their wedding location for a reason, and I love being able to capture all of the those details for them!
Wedding planner, Federica Beni, designed and brought to life this luxurious wedding shoot. Every detailed was carefully thought through and designed with such intention. She made sure it all complimented and told the story of a beautiful couple’s luxury wedding day on Lake Como. The color palette included some pops of blue to compliment the soft blue hue of the walls in the magnificent stucco room of Villa Sola Cabiati. The reception room was complete with velvety linens and the perfect chairs from Sofi Design. Along with impeccable tableware from Table Set Rents.
Acqua and Ink made the most delicious hand drawn sketches of the villa. Along with a beautiful detailed map of Lake Como. The custom stationery suites were beyond perfection.
Floraison Paris is an absolute genius when it comes to floral creations. The colors. The lines. The textures. They were all just so delicious and so meticulously created. It was an absolute feast for the eyes – and the nose! She creates jaw dropping designs and looks that it makes me wish we had ten times the floral budget!!
All of that floral deliciousness… I was in heaven!
Alessandro Mancino Studios made my jaw drop with their ability to create flawless hair and makeup. The way they can see colors and facial structure. How they can use hair and makeup to accentuate and compliment the model. Giving her such a perfect flawless look. It was magic.
The glue holding it all together was Before the Moon Events. In order for the whole workshop to go smoothly, she arranged and carried out so many different components for every single day.
The cake, created by Fen of MonAnnie was a work of art! She drew inspiration from Villa Sola Cabiati’s stucco room to create an incredibly detailed four tiered cake.
Fen also created flowers from icing that looked in fact like real flowers! She took luxury cake making to an entirely higher level!
Some of my favorite bridal shots are the ones that show the intimacy of a couple. I also love showing off the dress, especially when it is a luxe and gorgeously detailed as an Eva Lendel! As well as earrings that are the perfectly simple luxe every bride is looking for.
There were so many amazing vendors who contributed. It was a dream to create with and work alongside each of them. I can’t image being with better humans and businesses. A full list of vendors below.
