Amazing Yosemite Wedding shoot in winter

This amazing two day Yosemite Valley wedding, post wedding and editorial were SO cold. I have so much respect for the beautiful model, who turned some interesting colors in the bitterly cold weather down in the valley. She was amazing through it all! And what you will never be able to see is that she is wearing my north face ski pants underneath the gown! 🙂

The day after the wedding shoot was in an airstream. I knew as soon as I heard that, I wanted to shot this on Ilford 3200 to add to the romance. And they had romance!! It was the perfect compliment for the Yosemite wedding. I also used color film for some outside ones to capture the beautiful color of her dress and the sunlight coming in from behind them.

The last dress that we shot for the editorial was an absolute mic drop. The golden color, texture and the layers upon layers of the dress was undeniably on a much higher level. The yellow paired with the greens down in the valley were breathtaking. The dried floral headpiece that crowned her complimented it to perfection.
