Type A Society was hosting their very first workshop, and they chose the beautiful location of Yosemite National Park. And it was spectacular. Being that she had hired Clay Austin to be her photographer for it, I knew I had to go. I have created connections with both of them I knew two things would be true. Carrie would deliver unbelievable styled shoots, and Clay would bring to fun and laughter. I have so much respect for the beautiful model, who turned some interesting colors in the bitterly cold weather down in the valley. She was amazing through it all! And what you will never be able to see is that she is wearing my north face ski pants underneath the gown! 🙂
The airstream photos were so fun! I knew I wanted to shot those in Ilford 3200 to add to the romance.
The last dress that Carrie brought out was an absolute mic drop. The golden color and texture of the dress was undeniably perfection.
The friendships that I made during those few days are so meaningful. It was an amazing time with amazing people and I will forever be so so so thankful I went!
