Arriving at Rod and Hannah’s wedding truly felt like reuniting with old friends. We had already had an amazing time with these two not only preparing for the wedding day, but trying new restaurants together, sharing stories and a lot of laughs along the way.
White Oak Vineyards in Carlock, Illinois provided the perfect setting for this kind, genuine, and joyful couple to say ‘I do.’ While the weather was a bit cold, the intimate ceremony with eight of their closest friends and family was filled with warmth and love.
Music played softly as the groom eagerly looked down the row of maple trees for his bride. As she rounded the corner on the arm or her Father, it wasn’t just the groom who was filled with emotion, but bridesmaids, parents, and friends wiped their eyes as well. Rod and Hannah vowed their lives and their love to each other, and a group toast to the happy couple capped off the perfectly romantic and deeply personal wedding day.
Hancock Stadium at Illinois State University made for a beautiful reception, and when Rod and Hannah entered, they were greeted by an additional one hundred fifty people who were more than ready to celebrate this amazing couple. It was our honor and pleasure to sit with the parents of the Bride and Groom at the reception. Rod, Hannah, their friends and family welcomed us in like one of their own.
